Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS)
In March 2023, The Reach were awarded £1500 to deliver 2 10-week art courses aimed at supporting men in Sefton and Liverpool.
Living Well Sefton - Community Resilience Round 11
In February 2023, we were awarded £1500 for staffing costs for our drop-in activities.
In November 2022, The Reach were awarded £2,964 to deliver free hypnotherapy sessions to men.
Living Well Sefton - Community Resilience Round 10
In October 2022, we were awarded £750 to deliver an art course where the finished work would be displayed in Strand By Me. You can head over to our social media to see the display.
LCR Cares- Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund
In June 2022, we were awarded £750 to take drop-in service users on a day trip to Prestatyn.
In May 2022, The Reach were awarded over £4000 to help with staff costs and training.
Sefton CVS Platinum Jubilee Fund

Burbo Bank Extension Fund / Grantscape
In December 2021, The Reach were awarded over £4, 000 towards drop-in staffing costs.
AVIVA Community Fund and Climate Fund
In October 2021, Reach started another round of crowdfunding with AVIVA to raise £1, 200 to update our lighting and heating systems to a greener alternative.

In October 2021, The Reach were awarded £2, 930 for our expanding counselling service.
In September 2021, we were pleased to be awarded £3, 415 by JMF towards running costs for our new centre.
Living Well Sefton Community Champions
In June 2021, The Reach were awarded over £1000 to furnish the meeting room in our new premises.
In May 2021, The Reach started crowdfunding as part of AVIVA's Community Fund with the aim of raising £500 to pay towards recreational equipment for our new premises.
Community Foundation for Merseyside
In March 2021, The Reach was awarded over £700 towards fitting out our counselling rooms in our new premises.
In October 2020, The Reach were given over £7,000 to enable mental health recovery coming out of the pandemic.
National Lottery Reaching Communities
In June 2020, The Reach was awarded over £100,000 to pay towards staffing costs for 3 years which has allowed us develop our service.
In February 2020, The Reach was awarded £4,800 to deliver a weekly drop-in service which allowed us to run this group for 1 year.
Merseyside Police Community Cashback
In January 2020, The Reach was awarded over £15,000 to provide 300 hours of counselling sessions to the public.
People's Health Trust / Health Lottery North West
In September 2019, The Reach was awarded a generous donation of over £15,000 to deliver a weekly drop-in service for 2 years.
In February 2019, The Reach was awarded £2480 to support the work of The Reach Men’s Centre. We would like to thank Jamie Carragher and his team for their generous donation. This funding has meant that we can now extend the drop in sessions to Fridays, as well as Tuesdays.
In January 2019, The Reach was awarded £320 from the Mayor of Sefton Charity Fund. We would like to thank Counsellor Dave Robinson for this award from his charity fund. This money will be used to continue to work of the Reach Men’s Centre.
In September 2018, The Reach was awarded £10,000 to support the work of The Reach Men's Centre. We would like to thank the Big Lottery for this funding as it has had such a huge impact on the lives of isolated men living in the local area. This funding has meant that we can open a Tuesday drop in men's social club for the next 12 months. This award has also helped to support the work of our counselling service, making it accessible for those in the community with a limited income.
